It’s no secret that the social sphere has had an impact across the business landscape, no matter your niche. That’s probably why you’re here. You know this, but how do you make sense of all the noise, clutter, thousands of tweets-per-minute and flat-out misinformation floating around the web?

Well, that’s where the knowledgeable speakers and in-depth breakout sessions offered at SoCon13 come into play. Learn from social and digital media experts from across industries, and pick up tips and tricks you need to boost your comprehension of the medium and take your practices to the next level.

Quick on the draw, organic marketing maven and renown satire writer Jim Hodgson wants to share some of his social media sauce and make you “more popular than Elvis and Bill Clinton rolled into one. Elvis Clinton!”

All joking aside, in his session “Organic Marketing and the Big Dumb Internet, Featuring: Cat Photos,” Jim will guide audiences through the hills and valleys of getting a marketing agencies and online publication of the ground in a digital age. After all, who better to teach the tricks of the trade than an entrepreneur who’s proven successful in their own work?

Jim, owner of Hodgson Marketing and Editor-in-Chief of the off-the-wall Atlanta Banana, has built his businesses and in many regards his professional career on the backbone of the social revolution. Yet, not everyone has the time, energy, or workforce to tackle major projects, social campaign, or new businesses – and really, not everyone needs to be so invested.

In true SoCon tradition, there’s a lot of something for everyone at this year’s conference.
